Sorry we are late again, we have a genuine excuse this time. We were suffering from technical difficulties all yesterday evening and today, it's all good though as we have five sick pieces of work to show you this week!

We had what is probably the first official day of spring today with plenty of sunshine in the morning and it was warm all day, this photo by Rita sums up the day. Lots of chilling outside making the most of the weather because we know it wont last!

We like people that shoot film here at Deerbrains as it captures a real essence of the moment rather than an interpretation of it made up of 1's and 0's. The tones that Phillipp have captured here set the photo off, the contrast between the model and the trees appealed to us.

We like the rim light here that is illuminating the model, the model looks almost angelic where she is surrounded by light. We like how it is reminiscent of a fairytale.

We have had a sudden surge of submissions recently which is good and we have also topped 150 members which is even better! Keep spreading the word of the Deerbrains Flickr group and be sure to keep submitting especially illustrators, there has been a lack of illustrations recently.
