Hercules and Love Affair are a band that have managed to make disco relevant again while throwing Antony Hegarty (Antony and the Johnsons) into the mix too. Yeah, you read that right. Still, they've started to move away from that New York disco sound now, with Kim Ann Foxman returning on vocals alongside guests like Kele Okereke (Bloc Party) and Shaun Wright. The result is a kind of house revival mash-up that just works.
They play Shoreditch's Village Underground tomorrow night, and we hope you've got your tickets cos it should be an awesome gig. If not, just dance along to 'My House' up loud and pretend you're there.
