Volcom Store Launch @ Boxpark, Shoreditch

We headed over to the Boxpark pop-up mall in Shoreditch on Thursday evening (March 22, 2012) to check out the new shipping container space now filled with Volcom goodies. With free beer from Budweiser, music pumped out through the store and an exclusive collaboration line out for the ladies, there was plenty to see.

Volcom x POSSO dress

Our party buddy Lindsay from CultureLabel made a beeline for the new POSSO range, designed and inspired by the LA female DJ duo of the same name. The line references 90s silhouettes, with long-sleeved crop tops and an awesome leatherette body con dress with a low back and tie detail. Yum.

Artwork ceiling that we loved

 For the boys, the brand is continuing to do what it does best: tees, caps and well-cut jeans sat alongside their range of spring jackets and rep that Volcom, easy-going aesthetic. There were some great printed tee designs on show, as well as a line of slim fit trousers in a variety of colours with discreet and tasteful logo detailing. 

Transfer tats on display

All in all we had an ace time, and definitely have our eye on a few items that particularly shone out. Much love to Carly at Canoe, and to the legendary boy who opened all our beers with his special trick. Head to Boxpark Unit 13, on the ground floor, too see the Volcom wares yourself.

Volcom- Cheryl Maas

As it's getting near Winter, there will no doubt be a fair few of you reaching for your boards or skis and disappearing to some epic slopes. If you haven't planned a trip yet then it might be wise to get some tips from Volcom snowboarder Cheryl Maas. She has been traveling Europe and the U.S. dragging a film crew around, documenting her life on the snowy road. No doubt she has probably already found the best spots, but even if you're not a snowboarder yourself it's still an enjoyable documentary with some suitably impressive scenery.

FREE Volcom Hat - Saturday 18th December 2010

Saturday 18th December, Volcom will be firing up the hat press in the London Volcom store and printing FREE unique hats for everyone who comes through the door (while stocks last, of course).

This Saturday (18th December) you will be able to get a free unique hat from Volcom (providing stock lasts, obviously)
There will be a collection for the Whitechapel Centre for the homeless so bring some spare change to support the cause.
