He's brought quirky, touching, witty and beautiful films to us, from the likes of Rushmore, The Squid and the Whale, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, my personal favourite The Royal Tenenbaums and his most recent one Fantastic Mr Fox which I am yet to see.
I'm off to watch The Life Aquatic right now.
