It looks like the Nashville boys of Jensen Sportag have cast another of their smooth synth and guitar spells on a song that pleases our eardrums. This time round Brooklyn songstress Erika Spring (also known to many of us as Au Revoir Simone's frontwoman and Vogue's current Artist of the Week) has single "Hidden" transformed from its atmospheric dream pop origins into a salacious and breathy track suitable for all sorts of slow-motion bodyrolling.

Trashmouth Records our proud to introduce their new signing Glass Diamond! The electronic London based duo, lead by Taiwanese firecracker Miss Hsin Chiccy, this week released their debut Trashmouth Record single ‘Girls & Boys’ which is available from 18th June on digital download.

'Girls & Boys' is a quirky & haunting reworking of an old English nursery rhyme which Hsin discovered whilst still living in Tai Pei.  Struck by its charm and simplicity she coupled it with some modern electronics with stunning results. The outcome is an electronic dreamscape of sound traveling the world and back as your lead into a new dimension, an airy musical trip you never want to end.



It’s had the signature remix treatment from Trashmouth label bosses Medicine8, who have a turned in a hypnotically throbbing acid Disco version, as well as the fantastical tripped out original.
 
The tracks have already picked up early radio play from Rob Da Bank (Radio 1), Eddy Temple Morris (XFM), Tom Robinson (6 Music) & made record of the week on Amazing Radio as well as being picked up by an amazing range of big club DJs including Groove Armada, Japanese Popstars, Mighty Mouse, Hernan Cattaneo, Kolombo, Cosmonaughts, Jagz Kooner and many more!

Currently Listening to: Anneka - Indigo Run

This is Anneka, a Brighton-based singer and recent obsession for our ears. Her voice has already been lent out to guest drops on tracks by the likes of Starkey and Ital Tek but now she's showing the world that she can stand on her own feet too.

Her solo material is ethereal, rich, beautifully textured and overall rhythm-oriented. One false move and it could all fall to pieces, with delicate electric drum patterns layered atop each other, her own vocal samples chimed in on a synth and her live voice breathed over the top of it all.

This video comes from a recent recording taken at Brighton's Electric Studios (one of the city's great rehearsal and recording spaces, where you can always hear a huge variety of tunes wafting out of doors left slightly ajar) and really showcases her multi-tasking talent and vocal skill.

Santigold, queen of genre-defying and boundary-pushing music that still appeals to a wide variety of listeners, is back with a new EP and single. "Disparate Youth" is the title track, and we haven't been able to get its catchy hook out of our head since it dropped a few days ago.

Well, we actually got into this song last autumn when the album came out, but this is the second official video Ye and Hov have released from the album so we figured we'd go back to it.

In case you missed it, the video was projected onto the wall at Shoreditch High Street station at 5pm today, though rumours flew round that Kanye himself was going to show up and perform. He didn't. But the live footage video's still ape-shit and actually fit-inducing, so enjoy.
