RIP Gil Scott Heron

Gil Scott Heron died today in hospital at the age of 62, he was a great poet, rapper and revolutionist! His lyrics often reflected his battle's with drugs and alcohol but also humanitarian injustices and mass consumerism. Having been around since the 70's he has a huge following especially more recently after his collaboration with Jamie XX which was released earlier this year.
