Magic Trip: Ken Kesey's Search for a Cool Place

If you're well versed in Sixties literature, you might know that Ken Kesey was the man behind the classic book 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest' and that he was a key player in the hippie movement of the early Sixties. What you might not know is that 1964, Ken Kesey participated in his own LSD inspired of version of 'On The Road', with the same Neal Cassady as in the book, and traveled across America to the New York World's Fair.

The trip was documented but the film was never finished. Luckily for us, Alex Gibney, director of the Hunter Thompson biopic 'Gonzo' has been given complete access to the footage and is bringing the story to the cinema. The new trailer was released yesterday and it looks like an amazingly cool piece of work. You can see the trailer below, and the film when it's released on the 18th of November.
