Marks &Spencer has teamed up with London College of Fashion’s Centre for Sustainable Fashion and Oxfam to open a ‘Sustainable Fashion Lab’ in the heart of east London. Curated by Dilys Williams, the director of the LCF’s Centre for Sustainable Fashion, it will be open every day (10am – 5pm), except Mondays, from 26th April to 9th May, it will explore the future of fashion through a series of groundbreaking collaborations with the UK’s leading lights in sustainable fashion and design. Fashion influencers, designers, stylists, thought-leaders and visionaries will work with students and the public to both explore and debate the future of a more sustainable fashion industry.
To enter the lab visitors will have to hand over an unwanted item of clothing from their wardrobe, using yesterday’s clothes as a ticket to the future of fashion.
