Urban Industry x Percival Lookbook

Urban Industry created a digital look book that focus's on the British brand Persival. Set up in 2009 by designers and illustrators Chris Gove, Luke Stenzhorn and Olivia Hegarty they focused on the quality of British made workmanship whilst adding timeless outdoor orientated styling and fine detailing steering away from the disposable fashion trends that are current at the moment. We are very much into Percival and we especially like that as much as possible is designed and made in the UK, support the homeland. Take a look and see what you think!

It's mainly showing off the new Percival range but also includes a few other brand that Urban Industry stock including New Balance, Pointer, Levis, Carhartt, The Quiet Life and Herschel Supply Co.

Percival is available from Urban Industry now.

VANS Frazier OTW

Check these out! I'm totally in a Vans phase at the moment after picking up some Vans Era 59's in black and these need to be added to the collection, fact.
Another premium skate shoe, the Frasier OTW based on a variation of Vans' Heritage footwear, high end models and general skate wear. I love 'em.

Vulcanised soles (as expected), Pig suede and patent leather panelling, embossed tongue logo and perforated collar, sueded lining and waxed cotton laces. Nice.

Now available at Urban Industry where my wishlist seems to be growing daily. Go have a gander yourself.

Urban Industry 'Shop by Look'

Urban Industry do so many things right. Shopping by look being one of them.

I have no idea who invented the concept but if you're struggling to justify purchasing clothing from the likes of Penfield, 10 Deep, Alife, Brixton Hats, Only NY or Stussy (to name a few) purely because you don't know if it will 'go' then here is the solution.

It's pretty hard not buying something when you see it being modelled and then the 'add items to cart' button is right next to the clothes you see. They thought this out well.
Lookbooks are great (which Urban Industry have also nailed consistently) but I'm seeing this as becoming an online shopping standard.

For our Female readers....The models have more to offer than a fine selection of garments I'd like to add.
Chris running Elephanto, a brand currently offering a sick collection of tees and Raj produces music that the mind finds difficult to define. We're fans.

Oh, and check out Chris' site here and Raj's site here.

Urban Industry Spring 2010 Lookbook...

Urban Industry Spring 2010 Lookbook, High Order!

So here's a few images from the brand new Urban Industry Spring 2010 Lookbook which launched today. I was lucky enough to go and snap away for them working with DJ Odessa, known for his mixes with many London brands including Trapstar, as he modeled some of Urban Industry's best spring products including pieces from OBEY, Vans Shoes, Carhartt, The Hundreds, HUF, Only NY and Edwin to name but a few!

Here's what Urban Industry had to say..... "We thought this would be a great way of getting across the ideal of the store, picking some of the best stock of the season and getting Dub Step DJ, Odessa to model it round picturesque Eastbourne. Sean at Highorder.co.uk has done a blinding job on the photos... Enjoy!"

After feeling rather pleased with the way that the project turned out, I hope to work further with Urban Industry to produce more lookbooks in the coming months....keep em peeled for that!
