Bill Cunningham New York @ Duke Of York's, Brighton

For anyone else who gets that nice, lazy Sunday evening 'I really want to watch a good film' impulse, the Duke Of York's in Brighton have you sorted this week. They'll be joining London, Edinburgh, Belfast and other UK cities showing this awesome documentary on New York Times street style photographer Bill Cunningham.

Before the internet was even a thing, let alone a place for the likes of The Sartorialist, Tommy Ton's Jak & Jil blog and Stockholm Street Style, Bill Cunningham was out on Manhattan's streets snapping away and documenting micro-trends as they happened.

This film is a beautiful, honest and really well put together look behind the scenes at what's made him tick for all these years, and features several of his muses speaking on camera about him for the first time ever.

Click here to book and buy tickets for the 5pm screening on Sunday (March 25th), and check out the trailer below. We've already caught it in London, and recommend treating your eyes to this one.
