Fred Butler x Lazy Oaf Jewellery

Just in case you somehow didn't hear, our pals at Lazy Oaf released the Fred Butler jewellery line almost two weeks ago. Here's the entire line. Needless to say, the girls on the Deer Brains team are feeling pretty damn excited about it.

Yes to the loud, geometric shapes that fit both the Fred Butler and Lazy Oaf brands. And yes to the prices: this is Butler's first time putting out a line at high street level and we're excited she's done it with one of our faves. Happy shopping now...

Lazy Oaf x Fred Butler Launch

We headed over to what has to be the most colourful store on Fouberts Place: Lazy Oaf's HQ. We were some of the lucky girls out to enjoy their launch of the Fred Butler capsule jewellery collection, and it was all kinds of awesome. Free (adorable) transfer tattoos, refreshing Kopparberg ciders and delicious cupcakes from Pomp de Franc adorned the store as they showcased pieces from the line.

Fred Butler's theatrical and stand-out work marries really well with the trademark Lazy Oak colour pops and bold geometric shapes. She's been behind some of the brightest and best accessories to hit our screens in recent times: those worn by Nicki Minaj, Beth Ditto of the Gossip, Marina & The Diamonds and Gaga in the video for "Telephone". Needless to say, it's pretty damn exciting and special that her first-ever affordable collection is coming out with our friends over at Oaf.

We'll have a full post coming up showing you the collection's lookbook, since it launched on the site today. In the meantime, huge thanks to Jerry and all the other gorgeous ladies at Lazy Oaf for being so sweet to us and featuring us on their own blog about the event.

Eclectic Eccentricity

Here are some of their best sellers that I love.

Run by jewellery designer Lucy Averill, Eclectic Eccentricity is a vibrant collection of vintage and contemporary jewellery. Combining a love for unique and varied pieces with a hefty dose of fun, the collections are as different as the name (which combine's two of Lucy's favourite words in the English language).

Founded in 2004, Eclectic Eccentricity jewellery is full of gems and trinkets galore; necklaces, rings, brooches, bracelets and hair slides, all inspired by her love of vintage, and vintage-style knick knacks with stories to tell - from Jolly Rogers to flying planes; lockets, umbrellas, bicycles, globes to love letters. From the shabby to the chic, Eclectic Eccentricity continually updates its range with new and exciting pieces, as well as featuring Exclusive Eccentricities, a collection of individual, quirky, unique pieces guaranteed to be one of a kind.
