GiGi Vintage Flash Sale

You're probably not going to believe this one, but the darlings over at GiGi Vintage have let us know they're putting on a sale of their beautiful vintage pieces for a limited time tomorrow. No joke, all items included in their 7am to 7pm birthday sale will be going for £7.

If seven wasn't always your lucky number, they're about to change all that. Since the brand focuses on uniqueness, there's generally only one of each item found in the sale. You know what this means: get those alarm clocks set and ready then get clicking from 7am tomorrow morning.

The sale kicks off in about seven hours right, here.

Winter warmers #5

Right so this is the final instalment of the mens Winter Warmers because as you should all know the 21st of december has past and the days are getting longer and warmer, hooray! Now its getting to that time of the year when its too cold for a tee shirt but not cold enough for a cumbersome jacket know what we mean? A nice flannel shirt and a zip up hoody are the ideal stay warm garms this time of the year, easy to remove should it get too warm or should it suddenly get cold again can double up as the perfect under layer to a coat.

Here goes...

Altamont Deadman Shirt

The Deadman shirt from Altamont is a nice flannel shirt that is thick enough to keep you toasty on those brisk days but thin enough to not turn you into a boiled sardine. It comes with a nice green plaid, nice and subtle so will work with most outfits. Wear it with a pair of chocolate cords or a dark wash denim.

Available from Urban Industry HERE for £45

Obey Staple zip hoody

Plain and simple but has a nice texture to and and Obey logo detail, its a change from the usual American Apparel alternative not that there is anything wrong with them of course! It can act as the perfect over layer as it is zipped so it wont ruin your fresh hair when you take it off.

Available from Flatspot HERE for £70

Thats it for the mens Winter Warmers but look out for the ladies one next thursday! Also dont forget to check out our giveaways in celebration of or first birthday!

Platform's I Saw You Standing

Platform teamed up with Stan Still of T Shirt Party and photographer Nina Manandhar to try a new way of ‘doing’ clothes online. Only a preview of things to come has been revealed but I already cannot wait to see what's coming!

Watch the trailer to see the project known as 'I Saw You Standing' phrased as an online 'style archive' in video form. We've all seen the street style stuff and it seems video blogging is set to grace us as the new online media trend, maybe they went to the future and came back combining the two.

Each episode is a minute long video portrait of someone with a good look. Apparently that good look isn't fashion but 'style'. Judge away!

Pegleg NYC

In honour of Thanksgiving tomorrow, we bring you one of New York's most hyped street labels: Pegleg NYC. With a tongue-in-cheek penchant for the stars and stripes, Pegleg NYC combines a playful colour palette with cheeky florals, lumberjack checks, and bright geometric patterns. Our favourites are the raglan style sweatshirts and the bright nostalgic tees. Throw out your dull winter shades and buy here.
