Mercedes Benz x Terry Richardson x Giles Deacon

The luxury car maker Mercedes Benz has been a longstanding backer of the fashion industry sponsoring fashion weeks across the globe which is why for the launch of their new A class concept they have called upon the likes of Terry Richardson and Giles Deacon.

Pairing up Terry Richardson and Giles Deacon couldn't be a better match in our eyes: Terry is known for his energetic, sexy and lively photos which go hand in hand with Giles's playful and alternative designs. With Jessica Stam modelling and the Mercedes AMG factory as a location how could they go wrong?

What do you think?

Lady Ga Ga for Supreme shot by Terry Richardson.

Lady Gaga Supreme Photoshoot from Terry Richardson on Vimeo.

So, here it is Lady Ga Ga (who I must say, never thought she would be featured on Deer Brains), Supreme and Terry Richardson. Is this all a little cliche? Or a little too perfect? We like it, because separately we like all of the 3 products from this shoot separately (except maybe Ga Ga? She's ok) but together...Hmmm.

What do you guys think? Genius? Or utter miserable mess up fail? We would love to know...

Terry Richardson

I'm a bit surprised I haven't even blogged about this man yet.
Terry was first introduced to me during my College years when we studied anatomy. My teacher was slightly perverse and slightly strange but it was great that he brought all this collective soft pornographic, sexual innuendo images my way because I love it.

I'm a fan of this image as it brings the American leader with his great power and reign, a man that alot of people look up to and see as 'pure' with this man who is slightly wrong but creativity amazing at the same time.

Taken from his website.

Born in New York City and raised in Hollywood, Terry began photographing his environment while attending Hollywood High School and playing in a punk rock band. And he hasn't stopped shooting since. Terry has lensed campaigns for such clients as Gucci, Sisley, Miu Miu, Chloe, and his editorial work has appeared in magazines such as French Vogue, British Vogue, i-D, GQ, Harper's Bazaar and Purple, and his impressive list of subjects includes Daniel Day Lewis, Leonardo DiCaprio, Vincent Gallo, Tom Ford, Jay Z, Kanye West, Johnny Knoxville, Karl Lagerfeld, Pharell Williams and many others.

Terry's work has been the subject of numerous group and one man shows throughout the world, and he has published a selection of books, throughout the world, and he ha published a selection of books, beginning with Hysteric Glamour in 1998, and stretching through his career until his most recent work, a retrospective from Taschen, entitled Terryworld 25th Anniversary Edition.

Terry's work spans a variety of mediums: he has shot music videos and commercials and is currently working on his first feature film.

Whatever the medium, Terry Richardson continues to prove that he is a true American Original
