On influences: "Ryan McGinley, because he encompasses a sense of exploration and adventure. I just like going exploring. I think he's got the same sort of view on photography, maybe life too, that I have: just going out with friends and exploring stuff, man! It reminds me of growing up in the countryside, going out for hours..."
On personal style: "I aim for a sense of adventure, and finding a natural place of beauty, and putting a subject on top of it. But how pictures work is mostly to do with the subject and the emotive stance they put forward in the photograph. The picture's environment is alterable to the emotions of the subject".
