Replay AW/11

Replay have stripped things back to their origins for their AW/11 menswear collection, the concept is inspired by originality which they have brought into this collection by using traditional Replay treatments and processes. We think this has been very successful for the Italian denim brand, the looks carry a sense of nostalgia with the traditional washes and colour ways without being old hat. The styles are up to date and very fitting with current times.

This look is a personal favourite of ours, building off an outdoors theme with its neutral colours and smart casual aesthetic.

Quintin

Quintin is a lifestyle, skate and BMX headwear brand fresh out of LA set up in 2009 they have no decided to make the journey across the Atlantic to announce an AW11 drop in the UK. We like what we have seen so far, they aren't following the trend of garish prints on 5 panel hats that are being worn to death by OFWGKTA wannabe's. Their pieces are verging on old school but not in a way that is copying classic 90's snapback designs, more that they are keeping things simple, fresh and versatile. By versatile we mean that they are the kind of headpiece that will be in your wardrobe/wall and will go with any outfit, the daily in a sense. Looking through their current range available in the UK we are loving the Daly and the Sportsman 5 panels, made from houndstooth they are ideal for taking the chill off your head in the UK winter.

For their UK release they have also added some T-shirts and Crew neck jumpers to their collection which although we are mainly interested in the headwear are also a nice addition and add some variation to the UK release.

Gio-Goi AW11

As you will all know Autumn is in full swing now with leaves falling off the trees and plenty of rain, this means the cold Winter's nights are fast approaching. Gio-Goi's AW11 collection stays true to the "lumberjack" look which was big last year but refreshed and tweaked the look a little with a line of plaid shirts, knitwear and of course t-shirts to layer up with. Now of course we know plaid shirts are not new but don't be to sharp to dismiss them as they are a versatile and good for those days when its not quite warm enough to wear just a t-shirt. Opting for darker shades for the AW11 collection Gio-Goi have made this collection perfect for everyday wear whilst not being bland and unexciting. The knitwear is a nice addition and stays true to what is popular this season. We like the subtle military touches to them!

This is probably our favourite piece from the collection, it's not everyday you see a t-shirt with a photo by photographer Chris heads on it.
