A colleague of mine snuck into a festival without a ticket. When it started to pour with rain, he stole a sleeping bag from an unoccupied tent, trecked back to the carpark and slept underneath someone's parked car. Apparently, someone then broke into the car and stole some bits from it whilst he was taking shelter underneath!

I don't know how true it is, but a few years ago at Leeds festival it had been extremely wet, muddy and as usual the toilets were getting...messy. A rumour quickly spread that someone had gone underneath one set of toilets and proceeded to play 'pop up pirate' with unknowing festival goers. (obviously shouting ARRRRR!) There was pictures of him drawn all round Leeds from that point on... no idea what happened to him though.
