Brand: Exit Left Apparel.

This fab brand recently sent us their cat lazer eyes t-shirt and we couldn't be happier! The fit is superb and the quality is awesome. E.L.A was set up by Jonny Williams in 2008 and has flourished ever since.

They have recently dropped a brand new t-shirt that you can buy here:

The politeness and over all service from these guys is wonderful and we highly recommended that you show them some love via their twitter and facebook page.

You can buy their cat 'visions' t-shirt here and their new 'Tzolkin' one here.
For this weekend only you can get 20% off by entering '800fans' when you checkout. Amazing!

Lovebox Festival

Spank Rock.

High Rankin.

With massive thanks to VICE for providing us with tickets for Friday's line up of goodness. Featuring acts such as Beardyman, Ms Dynamite, High Rankin, Skream, Roll Deep and loads more. Our faves of the day must of been Spank Rock over in the VICE arena and Skream who were on the Rinse stage. The only problem of the day was wondering where Flying Lotus got to...? As we waited for them after Spank Rank we were subjected to some pumpin' beats but then it was clear there was a problem and we went outside to meet Yani from Big Eyes Little Soles and her boyo Andrew from Better Never Than Late...We saw the crowds sifting out of the venue and still no one knows what happened!? UPDATE: So, on the Lovebox Facebook page people are FUMING because the security stopped Flying Lotus due to the tent being too packed - then why let SO many people in...?

Saturday filled us with De La Soul, Snoop Dogg - who to our delight played Regulate!, London Elecktricity, High Contrast, Santigold and loads more! The mud was a bit of a nightmare but at least by the time we got there the rain had gone.

Sunday, literally brilliant. Jodie Harsh (our new favourite women, you'll love her too if you love Amanda Lepore, Party Monster, party party bangin' beats), Blondie, Kelis, 2 Many DJ's. The mud got worse but the people there got better! All in all a wonderful time and def on our list for next year.

Did you go? Who were your favourite acts?

Victate Summer '11

We were thrilled to receive a t-shirt from Vicatates newest collection which we absolutely love here at Deer Brains. After buying this bag a few months ago we were keen to find out more about this up and coming brand...

Our new standard of tees, weighing at a premium 215gsm ringspun tubular body, full neck and shoulder taping 100% cotton T-shirts is really something we are proud of. This is compared to our previous 160gsm ringspun non-tubular body, neck taped, tapered sleeves. The fit is a tiny bit more regular compared to our previous tees but we love it, the photos below are those tees. Some might think why we decided to get heavier when its now summer and getting warm, but we believe people will really love the quality of these new tees and the extra weight doesn't turn it into a down-jacket, it just feels nicer and drops well on the body.

After receiving their crocodile print tee we were very impressed with the quality of the material as they state the quality of their new tees and extra body feels nicer against the skin and drops well on the body.

Coming from a design background we were also loving their business cards with quality print and card material with little raised embossed V's...We are excited to see where this brand develops as every drop so far has been stepping up from strength to strength.

Other t-shirts in the latest drops are as follows:

Silver Service: Deer Necklace

The contemporary jewellery label features stunning pieces in sterling silver, priced between £15-520. The collection consists of charm necklaces, friendship bracelets, chunky bracelets, rings and individual charms, that tap into the creative expression of each wearer. Silver Service Jewellery is a favourite amongst celebrities including Fearne Cotton (her fiance, Jesse Jenkins, photographed the current campaign), Cheryl Cole and Alexandra Burke.

I am absolutely thrilled to have received this. It really is stunning and I believe it would be well worth the money. I've had a ridiculous amount of compliments and this necklace truly is a unique piece which is what I always aim for. I'm pretty sick of seeing girls with the normal boring bow, charm necklaces. the actual Deer itself is just the size I want it not too big but not too small. A few people have asked me if it heavy around my neck which it isn't at all, barely notice that it's there. I think you'd agree this piece is absolutely stunning! I really am so pleased with it.

GoGo Philip - Chunky Bracelet Review

GoGo Philip is a fast growing jewellery company that has already had coverage from The Telegraph, Mademoiselle Robot and Dansk Magazine. With some tip top collabs coming up with Susanne Madsen.

They kindly sent me over their chunky silver bracelet. Which has been perfect for all the meetings, family and 'posh' events that I have attended the past month. I'm such a lover of wearing simple cut dresses and adding accessories to glam up an outfit. Unfortunately my batteries on my camera ran out before I could snap a picture of myself with the bracelet and the outfit (lucky for you) but the bracelet received some nice compliments and made a statement on my wrist.

At first glance I was a little worried that it would pinch my skin but it was pinch free throughout the evening. I did end up bashing it against plates a few times but I put that down to my own clumsy ways.
